Evocate
This body of work is an homage to my favorite films that have impacted my life and made me a better filmmaker. As I digitally re-crafted these scenes I reflected on what exactly made them so meaningful to me, and that's when I realized that what tied them all together was their use of music. My favorite genre of music is Classical and Film Scores and this stems from my family collecting film soundtracks since before I was born. Four of these films were composed by Hans Zimmer, four are animated, and three are historical fiction. There is no other main tie between these films than my love of their soundtracks. I subconsciously chose these nine films out of the feelings their music evokes within me. You can't see music, but it's always hiding in plain sight.
